SABRE COLLECTIONS TEAM A FINANCE & ACCOUNTING TEAM
Collection Supervisor Role:
We are part of the Sabre Finance and Accounting Team! At Collections, we team up with our stakeholders and customers to achieve higher revenue, thru debt recovery of customers past due balances, driving increased payments rate, thriving for process efficiency by the hand of teamwork to fulfill our objectives. Cross functionality is very important to our team, so you get to learn about different team’s processes, different markets, regions and business units (travel agencies, hotels and airlines), which increases your business knowledge, makes your job much more interesting, varied and increases your career development opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
As Collection’s Supervisor you are responsible to leading a team expert in recovery of outstanding balances, and issues detection, you would plan for complex cases resolution thru strategic communication, to give support to your direct reports, while working from a high overview in process improvement and dual controls.
You will interact with many different teams, in order to coordinate resolution of issues, action planning, synergy building, focusing on the resolution of the top important cases, while discussing on best course of action and portfolio management. Collections team is responsible for working all business units, ensuring payment of the overdue invoices, while providing best in class services to the customer, such us clarification of balances, reconciliations, payment plans agreements, among other settlements. Some of the key processes Collection’s is responsible for: payment plan, debt recovery negotiation, writing off, credit memos requests and business case outlining for leadership decision making.
You get to interact with the other teams within the organization as internal customers. All of them have collections related matters to work on, and that helps you develop a good network within our organization while building an holistic and strategic vision of the business.
- Qualifications:_
- Fluent English and Spanish (oral and written) are required.
- Bachelor degree on accounting, economics, or similar (such us law, system analyst or business administration)
- Collection's experience, operations experience or customer service experience is needed, with a thrive for customer satisfaction and results oriented.
- Experience as a leader, as a supervisor or team lead
- Ms Office professional
- Be able to use procedures, policies and good judgment to resolve complex cases and negotiations
- Be able to handle an important workload effectively and meet aggressive deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to keep a dynamic pace of work while giving support to your direct reports for improvement

Team Description
Oversees Customer Care’s global support operation, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service and support on Sabre Hospitality products. What you’ll do in this role:
The Engineering Supervisor has daily responsibility for providing direct supervision to engineers and engineering technicians in one or more value streams, departments, or functions, supporting the achievement of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People performance goals.
Through strong cross-functional leadership competencies and adherence to Integer Values, you coordinate the alignment of resources and equipment in the most efficient and effective manner to achieve your functional goals.
