What you will be doing

• Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of microservices under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Write clean and maintainable code for functional web applications.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging applications.
• Learn and work with modern technologies to help improve existing applications.
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in gathering and documenting technical and design requirements.
• Contribute to building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and system administrators to deliver new features.
• Stay curious and keep learning about emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as a backend Java Developer (internships, academic projects, or personal projects are valued).
• Basic knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
• Understanding of relational databases (MySQL is a plus).
• Familiarity with AWS services (SQS, SNS, S3, etc.) is a plus.
• Exposure to microservices concepts and tools like Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in fintech or payment-related projects is a plus.
• Intermediate English skills.

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle: Design, develop, test, deploy and monitor microservices.
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.

• Propose and develop new event driven microservice architecture solutions.
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.

What you will be doing

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of scalable, high-performance microservices.
• Define and implement best practices for clean, maintainable, and secure code.
• Design and oversee event-driven and distributed system architectures to support high availability and resilience.
• Troubleshoot and optimize complex systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead initiatives to modernize and improve legacy systems, leveraging advanced AWS cloud services and infrastructure patterns
• Collaborate with Front-end, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
• Take ownership of infrastructure architecture decisions, including CI/CD strategies, cost optimization, and security compliance.
• Mentor and guide mid-level and junior engineers, providing technical leadership and code reviews.
• Build reusable components, frameworks, and tools for long-term productivity.
• Proactively research and introduce emerging technologies, architectures, and trends that could benefit the business.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a backend Java Developer, including significant exposure to architecture and infrastructure decisions.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java with Spring Framework.
• Deep expertise in AWS services (SQS, SNS, Aurora, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS/EKS).
• Strong experience designing and running production workloads on Kubernetes, including scaling, monitoring, and security best practices.
• Proven track record in event-driven microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, including performance tuning and data modeling.
• Experience in system observability (monitoring, logging, tracing) and cost optimization in AWS.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, making critical technical decisions.
• Experience in fintech or payment processing environments is a strong plus.
• Advanced English skills for technical discussions and documentation.
