**Description
We are looking for a dynamic software engineer with a strong background in C#/.NET to maintain and enhance our Pricing and Invoicing Platform.
This Platform is used within the company by multiple business units in the Casualty Insurance Industry to evaluate prices for our products and then create invoices that are delivered to our clients. This is a software engineering opportunity where you will be focused on developing, designing, and testing an Azure-based Angular Application, its associated APIs, and creating Invoice and Report Artifact Templates.
**Responsibilities**:
Deliver solutions using the following technologies:
- C#/.NET

- Aspose.NET Controls
- Work as part of a SAFe Agile team to deliver technology solutions using regular sprint planning meetings and daily standup calls.
- Understand, define, and develop product requirements; provide development estimates as needed.

- Provide mentorship to junior members of the team.
- Assist in end-user support of new features when they are published to the production environments.
- Execute monthly administration processes.
**Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field preferred.

**Responsibilities**:
- When involved in a project, help translating requirements, estimating, solve or escalate blockers/points worth of discussion.
- Have ownership of entire projects, being able to understand and answer about all of its aspects (infrastructure, back-end and front-end).
- Delivers code that encourages the team in terms of best practices, readability, design patterns, reusability and testing.
- When shipping and maintaining, keep an eye on data to raise if anything needs to be refactored or improved.

- You consider yourself Fullstack and have appreciation for being involved in both back-end and front-end parts of software development in a solid manner.
- 5+ years of experience on a development team deploying agile methodologies, collaborating with technologists, creatives, and product owners.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, React, and Redux.
- Advanced capability using NodeJS and its ecosystem.
- Advanced experience building and extending REST APIs.
- Experience using PostgreSQL (or a similar relational database).
- Calls for and leads code reviews.
- Uses DRY and YAGNI principles in code design.
- Can document and create tests based on high-level acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrable experience with building modern web interfaces and improving the user experience.
- Experience using modern and functional programming styles.
- Familiarity with source control management best practices.

What is this position about?

What will I be doing?
- Working cross-functionally with Engineering leaders, product managers and other stakeholders to build end-to-end solutions.
- Advocating for best practices in design, coding, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
- Develop services and propel the creation of new products and features that help travelers that utilize iOS and Android apps.
- Supporting the growth and development of other backend engineers through mentorship.
What expertise do I need?
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Significant experience in Java and JVM-based language.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS (preferred), and container systems such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in API design best practices, encompassing technologies such as GraphQL, REST, Swagger, and more.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
What about languages?
Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication is a must!
How much experience must I have?
